  You may contact the provincial offences office at (613) 580-2665 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. June-Labour Day, 8:30-4:00 PM.

• How do I request a trial date for my Ottawa traffic ticket or speeding ticket?

  In order to request a trial date for your Ottawa traffic ticket or speeding ticket, you need to file a Notice of Intention to Appear at a provincial offences office within 15 days of receiving the ticket.  Alternatively, you can request your trial date online through Road Warriors for $19.99 to save you from taking the time off work in order to do so.

• How can I pay my Ottawa traffic ticket or speeding ticket?

  Before paying your Ottawa traffic ticket or speeding ticket, please be advised that paying your traffic ticket means you are pleading guilty to the offence.  Once you plead guilty, the traffic ticket or speeding ticket will be on your driving record.  Alternatively, requesting a trial date online for your traffic ticket or speeding ticket can buy you additional time to decide whether to fight your Ottawa traffic ticket or if you need additional time to pay your traffic ticket fine.  Your trial date will likely be scheduled 3+ months from the date your request is submitted.  During this time period, the traffic ticket will not be on your driving record.  While waiting for your trial date, you will still have several options available to you - you can choose to retain a paralegal firm, fight the ticket yourself, or decide later on to simply pay the ticket and plead guilty to the offence.  If you do wish to pay your Ottawa traffic ticket or speeding ticket, you can pay in person at any provincial offences court in Ontario by cash, cheque, debit, VISA, or MC.  Cheques, VISA, or MC payments can be sent by mail in the self-addressed enveloped provided with your ticket.  Simply complete the payment slip included with your ticket and enclose it with your cheque or credit card information.
